Week 43

Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.

This weeks theme was fall. I love fall, considering the temperature change, leafs slowly change color, and the air smells differently. Magical! Each fall we would take a trip to White Mountains NH to see the change on a big scale. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons, they make me appreciate the simple beauty of everyday...

For this project, the biggest challenge was to find representation of fall. I moved to Florida and temperatures are in 80s. I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do for this project. Yet again, rainy week sabotaged my plans. Throughout the week, I was able to pull some images together, hope you enjoy my translation of fall from sunny FL.

After a rainy morning, I walked the neighborhood and noticed the color of a sea grass. The color has changed with the season. I love these purple colors that the grass offers. I had to plug my girls right between these colors. I love it! My girls were wet, so the sun is bouncing off their fur, magical!

On our way home, the whole neighborhood was quiet, and decorated for Halloween. As I walked by someone's house - loved their decorations! I had to take a photo, what else screams fall than Halloween decorations. As I casually strolled by Katchka volunteered to model with the scary pumpkin. I like how this image turned out, added some shadows to create fall feel.

What else brings fall feel to us? The golden hour at sunset has lots of fall like colors. On this image Kika is posing at sunset with some beautiful colors.

I hope you enjoyed my photo story and I would love to invite you to follow translation of our project by viewing work of Mary Siani Photography. This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer.

Have fun!
