Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.
This week our project theme is Into the Woods. I have moved to Florida and we really don't have woods around here. There is few places I chosen for this project, but last time I saw alligator on the walking path. This time I was very careful on our walk, because I went alone. Was I worried that I will see an alligator again!!! Last time the alligator was literally three feet from me, beautiful animal but so scary. I scooped all three pooches up and ran. Talking about getting attacked in the woods, nobody would expect alligator, maybe bear but alligator? (haha)
I was brave, I have made the trip into the woods and here are my photos. I hope you will enjoy Florida type of woods. On this photo Katchka is sitting in the entrance into the woods, as you can see our woods are cool! Mix of palm tree bushes and tall tress, love the variety. As you can see Katchka looked to the side, because something moved! Aaaaa! Our woods are scary, but I am here and nothing eat me or my babies :)
I took the pups into the wood during sunset. I enjoy seeing the sun filtered in the tree line. It makes it for beautiful colors and nice bokeh, we all love the golden hour. On this photo Mr. Sarik strikes a pose for the cam with some amazing bokeh.
Not to forget about my little munchkin Kika in the woods and sunset. I love taking photos of my pups. They are older and I just never know, when will I take the last photo. When I work on this project I make sure to take photos of three dogs separately. Just to see the light and work with their individual personalities.
Ever since I started to work on these weekly projects, I am determined to try take a photo of my Three Musketeers for each assignment. Multiple pets households will know how difficult this can be. To have three different personalities in one shot to look at me in the same time is true challenge. So, I will always try to have all three of them in a shot. And this is what I got... I love and treasure my group photos.
On my way out of the woods I have seen the sun coming down. I had to snap a photo of the beautiful scenery. Magical...
I hope you have enjoyed my weekly story and had fun! I would love to invite you to follow translation of our project by viewing work of Blue Amrich Studio in Massachusetts. This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer. Have fun! Please, leave me a comment :) (if you would like to!)
