Week 3

Happy Friday!

Each week a group of wonderful photographers from Beautiful Beasties Network challenges each other to take on an assignment. This is a great way to network, get to know each other, and just try new things in general.

This weeks theme is shadows. Every time I plan a master project the weather decides not to collaborate. Florida had some gloomy days without a sun, hard to believe. Not to complain but we had some major freeze temperatures. There was only one day I could work on this project. Where best to work on shadows project rather than the beach? Imagine early evening, low sun in the sky, and two boys that I love so much, watching them playing together.

For this project I was going to exaggerate their shadows, not going for a full silhouette, but capturing these long shadows and their amazing relationship. These shadows ended up to be sort of leading lines in my photo.

Right before we left for the beach my puppy boy was looking out the window watching the neighbors kitty. I am not sure if that is the best angle but I tried to capture his shadow on the ground. That photo makes for an interesting capture for sure.

This weeks photo story is somehow short but I hope you have enjoyed it. Head over to view translation of our project to Embracing Grace Photography, Chicago, Illinois.  This is a circle and we always have lots of photographers participating. Please scroll down on each blog and visit the next photographer.

Have fun!
